In settings, an admin generates a dedicated key for the AI connection — admin only, not every employee.

The key is entered there once as a connection (MCP, an open standard both support).

From then on, the model reads the business’s own truuflow data when a question calls for it, and answers from there.

Security: only your own business, read-only
With a connection between an AI model and real business data, what matters most is what it can't do: access is limited to exactly one business, a key never returns another truuflow account's data. Nothing can be created, changed or deleted through the connection — it can only answer. Customer names, addresses, phone numbers and emails are hidden by default and switched on deliberately, per key. All data stays on servers in the EU, same as the rest of truuflow.

No. Access is read-only. It can answer questions about your own data, but never change anything in truuflow.
Can the model see other businesses’ data?
No. A key is tied to exactly one truuflow account and only ever returns that account’s own data.
Do I need a specific plan?
The AI connection, like API access, is part of the Pro plan.
Do I need ChatGPT Plus or a Claude subscription?
That depends on which version of ChatGPT or Claude supports custom data sources. Truuflow itself requires nothing beyond the access key you generate once.
What if I no longer want the connection?
Revoke the key in settings — the connection ends immediately, nothing else about your account is affected.
